Apple is doubted a fine inventor. All of their products are being loved in the whole world. There most loved products are the iPhone 4S and the “Beast” iPhone 5.
Today I’ll be going to do a comparison of both devices. I’ll try to do in-depth review of both Smart Phones. If you are going to buy an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5 then it is must for you to read this Comparison. Let’s begin the fight.
Appearance:
The iPhone 4S is specially famous for its sleek and glassy back. It gives it a glossy and eye-catching look. But the glassy back is a big fault in iPhone 4S it is really ted easy to break and all of your money will be in vain. But on the other hand, our iPhone 5 is equipped with aluminum back which is almost impossible to break and that’s why in Appearance comparison, the iPhone 5 wins.
Dimensions:
The iPhone 5 is signficantly thinner and much longer as compared to the iPhone4S. The extra length and slimness of iPhone 5 makes it more comfortable to hold and use. The iPhone 5 is around 2.31 inch wide and 4.87 inch longer. The thickness of iPhone 5 is just 0.3 inch or 7.6mm. On the other hand the iPhone 4S is 2.31 inch wide and 4.5 inch longer and the thickness of iPhone 4S is much bigger than the iPhone 5. It’s around 0.37 inch.
The total weight of iPhone 5 is incredibly as low as 112G only and the weight of iPhone 4S is much greater than the weight of iPhone 5 it’s about 140G. In this comparison, our iPhone 5 again wins just because of extra slimness and lightness of it. It makes it more easy to carry. After-all it’s a smart phone.
Display:
One of my favorite feature in all the new coming iPhones is their super dynamic and HD Retina Display. The iPhone 5 have 326 Pixels Per Inch (ppi) which makes it look more and more brighter and cooler than other smartphones. The display of iPhone 5 is about 4 inch and have a resolution of 1136×640. The most brighter and HD display ever in the history of Smart Phones.
On the other hand, our iPhone 4S is really a strong competitor of iPhone 5. The display of iPhone 4S is about 3.5 inch IPS with resolution of 960×640 and haves the same pixels per inch as the iPhone 5 have i-e 326 PPI. The resolution of iPhone 4S is bit lower than the iPhone 5 it is a negative point for iPhone 4S. Therefore, in this comparison of Display, the iPhone 5 wins again.
Processor and RAM
The boost in the boot of iPhone 5 is really noticeable as it is the owner of new A6 Processor with 1.3 GHz Speed specially made for iPhone 5. The boot matters a lot in the comparison specially when you are comparing two smartphones of one company. iPhone 5 have a double amount of RAM as compared to the iPhone 4S. It have 1 Gigs RAM, when it comes to performance and Speed then the A6 processor and 1 Gigs RAM shows the noticeable magic.
The old iPhone 4S is having 512 MB RAM with Apple’s A5 processor with 800 MHz Speed. There are lots difference between the processors and speed of both devices. I personally did a test of both devices. I want to know that which one loads faster and I was expecting that iPhone 4S with iOS 5 will boot faster as iOS5 is much lighter as compared to iOS6. But the results were stunning. The iPhone 5 loaded faster with iOS6. It booted about 3 seconds faster than the iPhone 4S. In the comparison of processor and RAM once again the iPhone 5 won.
Final Conclusion:
Well, results are in front of you. If you are really interested to use any Apple Smart Phone then I’ll always recommend you to buy an iPhone 5. As it is a complete bombshell for future technologies. The iPhone 4S will become sluggish soon as its processor and RAM is ultimately low and the competition is growing day by day. So don’t waste your money in buying old model of iPhone. Go for the newer one if you can’t afford then wait until you’ve collected the money and buy a suitable device for your self.
